Murall’s Hidden Detail
Once installed, your Murall wall system can be infinitely reconfigured to accommodate your evolving needs. Reconfiguring the wall requires minimal tools, minimal skill level and does not damage the wall or hardware in any way.
Let’s delve into the mechanics of the Murall wall system and discover how it can seamlessly transform your space.
Installing your Murall Wall Panels
-
Clip joiners together.
Murall joiners come in 500mm lengths. The joiners clip together to create lengths as required to suit the height of your wall panelling – then simply cut off from the top only. Within the joiners are concealed fixing points that hold all of the Murall Wall Hardware in place, allowing the user to position artwork, shelving and other items on the wall.
-
Insert joiner into panel groove.
The joiners fit perfectly into the groove on the edges of a Murall panel - simply tap into the grove on the right side of the panel ensuring the joiner is level with the bottom of the panel.
-
Fix to wall.
Move along from left to right, locating the panels along the wall. Using construction adhesive and brads (or similar) ensure you are level at the bottom and trim from top as required. Check that you maintain a 6mm spacing between panels. If you wish you can use the Murall skirt profile or similar to ensure you are level at the bottom.
-
The completed wall.
Once the wall has been installed, all of the concealed fixing points will be aligned and are ready for the addition of Murall Wall Hardware.
Fitting Wall Hardware
-
A. Insert
Insert the Murall hook into the groove between panels and locate the arms into the concealed fixing points in the joiner.
-
B. Turn 90°
Turn the hook clockwise 90°.
-
C. Drop
Allow the hook to drop into location in the gap between the panels. It is now ready for use.
